Be My Medicine is a song grounded in place and time. I began writing it in 2022 when people and opportunities were coming into my life that were medicine to me. The song started from some atmos I recorded when I was out bush. In the soundscape, you can hear the day's first birds and the sound of my fingers scratching on swag canvas as I wake up on Kaytetye Country. The song is about those moments when you lean into spaces, places and people that are healing.
